The KF probably does not SHIP with advertising installed. That gets loaded after you register it, based on your location. I did not say that all kindles were USABLE without registering. So, technically speaking, although not accurate, I was not necessarily incorrect. People often make ASSUMPTIONS that I did not imply, when they challenge my posts. Lack of accuracy (often used for brevity when I use my onscreen keyboard) does not imply falsehood.

The English language can often be all to easily misinterpreted when using bevity, especially when crossing cultural or technical boundaries. Unfortunately, I browse MobileRead more often on my Nexus 7 these days, and the onscreen keyboard encourages brevity. So misunderstandings of my intent may be even more common in the future.
