OK, I got home and downloaded everything.

Comments:

* The PDF reflow is nice. Still not the format of choice, but for when you have no choice but PDF,the zoom feature is very adequate.

* I really like the direct delete book option, but the Kindle still holds the edge here with its ability to delete multiple books at a time.

* The epub files work fine, but I guess I still do not understand the excitement for epub. Is it mainly a quest for a universal format? It does not seem magical in any way, and is still not universal by any means. I must be missing something.

All in all, I am grateful for the update. Sony is showing a commitment for the Reader that I feared they did not have.

Now to get the new light wedge book cover. Once I get that, my life will be complete.
