Do something right and the word gets out, witness the iPod, iPhone etc. People repay with both kind words and their money. That money also represents an unspoken contract that they are receiving an item of reasonable quality. People have a right to complain if the quality is not reasonably good. 10% to 15% breakage is statistically significant, and simply too high.
