I stop anywhere. ebooks have automatic bookmarks recording your progress. Chapters and other artificial divisions make no sense anymore. I also tend to go back and forth between many ebooks, but my mind always picks up from where the action halted.
BTW, short story collections and omnibuses with author works mess up with that, which is a shame. Perhaps collections make no sense anymore too, because you may want to read the different stories out of any particular order.
