Please, if there's anyone reading this who has a shred of mercy in their heart, come to Tidewater tomorrow and hide my wallet, check book, and disable my Internet connection. Above all, for mercy's sake, don't let me anywhere
near Amazon's "Buy" button. Not only do I not need another reader or tablet, the purchase of one now would play havoc with my budget. There's absolutely no reason for me to buy another Kindle now, even if it has a new glorious Paperwhite frontlit screen that's ideal for reading in all lighting conditions. No reason at all. Oh, geeze, I'm so weak. Somebody help me. No, no, no, no! I will not buy.
