Almost lost my head for real when my husband found out I had ordered the Samsung 7" Tab (get it tomorrow - Amazon Prime). He said he didn't want the Kindle Fire for his birthday.
(Well, I tried.) He did the same thing when I tried to give him the PocketBook 360+ and now he loves it and uses it all the time so....I'm hoping he'll come around.
Yeah, I looked into the Nexus 7, but the defective/broken screens scared me off and I really wanted a micro sd card slot since unlike most people in the world I don't have really decent access to the internet.
It's a bummer that you can't install apps to the sd card though.
