Agreed and we could do that but it would mean not having a college fund, not getting to see his extended family regularly, and missing out on other opportunities. We would have to move further away from where my husband works so less time with Dad. There is no easy choice. If we can limit his time in day care then we will have struck an acceptable balance. The hope is he spends 18 hours a day at home. Once he goes to school, he will spend less then that. And hopefully he won't he have to take out student loans to start his adult life while having fond memories of trips to his grandparents.
