But that's kinda the whole point of submarines, GeoffC, to kill the other guy when they're not looking. War is a nasty business, any way you slice it. I think they also cut some of the sinking time out of the footage, which made it look even faster.
Besides, I think that was only a frigate (and an old one, at that), it'd take at least
two of those torps to kill a carrier.
