The soft keyboard on the Touch works better than the physical keyboard on the K3, to my mind.
You don't have to "stretch out your thumb" to turn the page on the Touch, as the OP stated. If you rest your thumb on the edge of the bezel, a slight roll of the thumb is sufficient to turn the page.
