Actually, replicating the Calibre structure 'exactly' is precisely what I want: this is because I want to :
- export to device with all my metadata (especially tags->collections)
- modify and make notes on the PDF I have on my device
- sync back to my PC in order to have my annotated remarks everywhere, accessing the modified files from within Calibre
I'm aware of the issue concerning the empty dirs and also of the risk of deleting the synced Calibre dir (which of course I avoid touching!)
