Well, probably near enough!
It literally means 'coppery' and is a method of fermenting wine on the skins to give it a slight pinkish hue (not rose wine though). I'd never heard of it before, but we had a bottle in Vegas on the advice of the sommelier in the restaurant and I looked it up when we got home.
