3. Fill up the 3L bowl and dump the water in the 5L bowl. Do it again, carefully, until the 5L bowl is full. Then dump out the 5L bowl. There's one liter left in the 3L bowl; pour it into the 5L bowl, then refill the 3L bowl and dump it into the 5L bowl. Done.
