Well, that is the latest in the Ubuntu repository.
So - I had to manually install the new one using the python script from the calibre site. I installed it over the top of the Ubuntu installed one (which is in /usr/share not the default /opt) but happily it seems to be working, and I have my margins set to "no margin".
