That's what I understood too. But I find no folder called "My Kindle Content" in my documents folder - or anywhere else on my Mac HD using Spotlight. The Amazon help desk technician also told me there was no such folder (which I was reluctant to believe but what can I say?). All she cared about was that my Kindle for Mac was working properly, which it was. Could I have avoided all this if I had bought the book from within Calibre? Not sure I'll ever buy another Kindle book.
