Frankly, I think Apple ripped off Palm. Palm and Sony both had PDAs out a decade before Apple introduced the iPhone, and those old PalmOS devices looked very similar as far as icons to iOS. iOS is much better of course, but since Apple sued Samsung for piddly sh!$ stuff, Palm (or rather whoever bought Palm, HP?) should sue Apple for like $100 billion. These darn lawsuits based on patents that show concept sketches should be thrown out. You could easily draw a sketch of cartoon-like flying saucer craft, patent it without any technology info being included, then wait 25 years until someone actually builds one that works then sue them. That is how screwed up patent laws are in the USA.
