Hello everyone
I remember the first time that the words parted and allowed me to enter the world of a book. It was a rainy day and I couldn't play outside. I spent some time with a book and slowly and quietly I was transfixed. I wasn't mouthing the words any longer; I was there.
That was a long time ago. Ever since then I have been an avid reader. I am lucky enough to enjoy most genres. I like Dickens, Raymond Chandler, Harry Harrison, Jerome K. Jerome, Ian Rankin, Terry Pratchett, Steinbeck, Emile Zola, Jasper Fforde, Iain Banks, PD James, Hermann Hesse, Tom Sharpe, Graham Greene and many, many more.
I received a Kindle touch for a birthday present this year and it's been a bit of a turbo-boost to my reading!
