I've been browsing MobileRead for some time but have never joined till now.

I've had many e-readers and been frustrated in different ways by each of them.

My first reader was a Cybook Gen 3 which I used for over a year till I dropped it and cracked the screen :-)

Then I had a Kindle, which was a frustrating experience, especially the Kindle bookshop - this lasted till the screen gave up and died just outside the warranty period.

I had a Sony reader for a while, but donated that to my mum.

I bought the Apple Kool-Aid and tried an IPad for a while, but even with the vaunted retina display, I found it tiring and almost unusable outside, but I had got used to the extra size, so my current e-reader is the Onyx Boox M92 - so I'm developing strong forearm muscles, it weighs a ton :-)

My wife also uses ereaders and owns a Nook wifi.

I'm a software developer and am going to get involved in developing for the Onyx - maybe not on the firmware side, but it definitely needs some help in managing book collections.
