What is the "large toggle"? Do you mean the "page forward" button (the one with the right-arrow/greater-than symbol)?

If so, there have been reports of moving more than one page forward when pressing it, instead of moving to the next page. That could be caused by the switch debounce timeout in firmware not being long enough for the quality of switches used for the next page button.

There are buttons on both sides of the kindle. Do both "next page" buttons have this "next chapter" behavior? Does it always go to the "next chapter", or is it sometimes just a couple of pages forward (as described by other posts)?

More information would be helpful here. If it ALWAYS goes to the next chapter, that could be a firmware bug, but others should have seen that exact problem too and I have not seen such reports. Could you provide a link? The link above describes "multiple pages", but not "next chapter" as is being described in the OP here.
