Ligotti is, in my humble opinion, the best writer in horror. His stories are eerie, dark, ambient fever dreams. Both books are easily worth the purchase at thrice the price, especially if you prefer your horror to more evocative than blood and guts.

Thanks for posting. I have to check this out. I've seen it recommended elsewhere, also, but I have never read this author.
