The Seraphinium: The kind of review I LOVE

Here's a review I received for
Book I of The Seraphinium: The Merchant and the Menace.

I love this review because the writer combines constructive feedback with their appraisal. (It doesn't hurt that they enjoyed the book! )

5.0 out of 5 stars Great tale overcomes editorial shorcomings, August 15, 2012

I wasn't sure I was going to stick with this book. I'm something of a grammar-Nazi and misspellings, even if they are homonyms, annoy me. This book has quite a few. I don't blame the author, though. His editor should have caught these things. The author, however, brings a fine tale to the reader and keeps it moving. I'm very glad I stuck with the story and finished the book. I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the series. McHugh relies strongly on tried-and-true fantasy language in this book, but again the story carries you past that. Is this Shannara, LOTR, Narnia? No, but it's one fine excursion you'd be silly to pass up. This story has great legs; hop on and go for a ride!

If you would like to join the ride;

THE MERCHANT AND THE MENACE
