When? I dunno; I just noticed a few months back.

How? I watch on XBOX: the Yellow button on the infrared remote calls up a menu with among other things a big box labelled "Language and subtitles". Language is usually English, sub-titles is usually "none" and "English CC". Useful for UNDINE and Doctor Who, among others.

The most recent App update gave me the option to pick between regular NETFLIX and NETFLIX FOR KIDS. (I assume family settings can be used to force the latter.) Hulu Plus has better HD image quality than Hulu and both could use a bit more CBS content (PERSON OF INTEREST!) but both are easily worth the US$8.

NETFLIX apps vary according to devices, now that I think of it. I hope its not another XBOX-exclusive feature...
