So, it would appear to be failing because there's no jailbreak installed. This is confirmed by the fact that I don't see traces of my jb in the log .

Now, there was a short window of time when uninstalling the jailbreak left the system in an inconsistent state until the next reboot, so, let's try this:

* Restart your Kindle ([HOME] > [MENU] > Settings > [MENU] > Restart)
* Install the latest jailbreak version
* Uninstall the SS Hack
* Uninstall the JailBreak

That should clear things up .

EDIT: Forgot to mention: Please use the uninstaller from the latest release of each hack, they handle all previous versions fine, and may very well have fixed some stupid bugs (I'm thinking of the aforementioned jailbreak one, for example, which is probably the root cause of your troubles ^^) .
