Well, they also don't exactly move really fast. I get them in the front yard all the time. They generally come out at night to dig for grubs ... which means they are usually crossing the road at night too ... so drivers don't see them very well. It's a bad combination.

They're kind of cute actually. I just have to remind the dogs NOT to bother them. They have yet to learn that "mommy" likes the squirrels, deer, bunnies, and armadillos. So, chasing and hurting them is a "no-no."
