Only works with the Reader Store. You could always host out your Calibre library over HTTP and grab them that way, but without some sort of means to configure/control automatic delivery, it won't work with anything other than Sony's servers.

It's not listed as a feature, the manual makes zero mention, and the photos show no headphone port. It's gone, and honestly, I don't miss it.
