The Onyx Boox i62 (either normal or HD) might suit you:

up to 32GB storage on a micro-SD card (though this is fairly common on eReaders these days)
audio
hand-written note-taking via touchscreen
supports Chinese (in fact I'll have to change the language on my one from Chinese to English when it arrives from China)
does not need to be rooted (though they are working on an Android version of the software for those who want it)
