If they felt like a bit of a larf, this sloppy, innaccurate drivel seems an decent opportunity for a bit of litigation against Amazon from JKR (who probably couldn't be bothered/care less - especially if she'd read the so-called "competition") or one of her publishers - Bloomsbury at the time.

Worth a punt, I'd have thought - quite apart from a perfectly legitimate protest against lies by implication, there could easily be enough dosh to fund another medical research facility !

Mind you, Amazon might well then try to dress it up as being philanthropic with their profits .....
