Not just phones. Think of putting a 100 gb card into your 10 mega-pixel camera and shooting all RAW. Kinda nice not having to swap out in the middle of an event you're trying to capture.

Heck, if they can get the read/write speeds up high enough, that would be a nice storage option for digital video cameras.
