The firmware 2.0 seemed to update fine for me and only noticed two functions that didn't work.
One was the annotations and percent of book read which was in the thousands of percent.
The other was the Shelf for categories which seemed to have failed the update.

A suggestion by some users to "LOGOUT OF KOBO DESKTOP SOFTWARE"
worked for me and was able to use the SHELF function as it was intended.

I haven't tested the percent read in annotations yet but will try to report back.
