A client downloads FROM a server, or uploads TO a server. The kindle is the client, and it communicates with the amazon server cloud.
Perhaps JSWolf is merely confusing upload/download with receive/transmit, but if you base judgement on his past behavior it is easy to conclude that he knows the correct definitions and is just trying to bait us with off-topic diversionary terminology obfuscation.
