I respectfully disagree.

While you can, the dialogues may be too small. Also, depending of the device, changing pages can be too slow too. So 10 inches is better. 6 inches is doable, but not enough, not in my own experience and opinion.

Tablets are a better choice for Manga. You can pinch zoom, it's easier to read and there are some dedicated applications for that. iPad2 or iPad1 are awesome devices for Manga.

Last but not least, Kindle DXG, while kind of slow for turning pages, is also a good option. It's eink but with a decent size for Manga.
