I have a K3 (US3g -Kindle Keyboard) and need to uninstall the screensaver hack so I can send it in to be (hopefully) fixed by Square Trade. Here's what I installed on it back in 2010:

kindle-jailbreak-0.4.N
Kindle-ss-0.15.N

I put the uninstall file for the SS in the root file and did a restart from the menu and got an error message. (My understanding is that I need to uninstall the screensaver hack before uninstalling Jailbreak, although I also tried that and got an unsuccessful message.)

Can anyone help?

If I'm just sending it into Square Trade can I simply do a "Reset to factory defaults?" Will any of this affect the ability to re-install the screensaver when I get it back?
