At first I love my Sony PRS-T1. But now I'm getting more more frustration on it.

First of all, I already gotten it fully charged in my office and happily syn all new books into the Sony PRS-T1 successfully .
I put it to sleep with the book cover of my new book which I intend to read it after my dinner. So happily I travelled home (20 minutes journey) with my motorbike.

The Sony reader was covered with the sony lighted cover so it's protected with any bumps happened during the journey.
After i gotten home, had my dinner, I took it out to read my new book and the ebook refused to turn on. At first I thought it's hang/freeze, so I use a pin to reset it. It did not do anything , nothing happened. No lights when I push the power button. So frustrated , I plugged in the wall charger, a few minutes later, the ebook booting up. When successfully booted up, I unplug, it says battery low, please charge it.

I'm wondering, how come it can lose power so fast , it's only 2 hours since I got home, everybody says it can last for 1 month ? So puzzled. Never mind , I got it charged overnight.

The following day , I did not bring it to office, I switch if off totally this time instead of making it sleep. When I got home, switch it on , voila.. the battery still full and I start to read.

I encountered it another time when I travel overseas. I put inside my travel pouch , and when I wanted to read the thing.. I cannot power it on, same problem with the first one, no power. I should have returned it. BH...

I read in the forums, it could be due to the sd card that causing the battery drained. So I removed the sd card and resyn with calibre , of course with limited storage I had chosen few books only. When finished , I disconnected it and bring it home.

After 1 hour I got home, the ebook still asking me to please wait , it seem like still indexing the books that I syn with it's internal memory. BH.. I can't read that night. I was so frustrated that I rebooted it few times but it still hang at the please wait screen. I push the reset button again ... and it booted up . And i can use the ebook again and read them . Boy I'm so scared to syn it with my calibre again , in future if I have new ebooks, how to syn with it if it need reset and waiting for it to finish syn is really very time consuming.

Bad experience. No problem if I did not do any syn too often to prevent needing to reset the ebook again.

It's so unreliable and really an embarrassment because when i took it out to read, the screen shows frozen screen or please wait screen and put it back. I'm so afraid to take it out nowadays to face the same problem .

I'm just wondering, if the new t2 will be better ?
