I think we're saying the same thing. Once you download the music it is stored locally for playback. I have downloaded specific songs while traveling but decided that I prefer to store my whole collection locally on all the devices where I'm able.

Amazon did upgrade some of my music but honestly, what I originally uploaded was good enough quality for me.
