Mindblowing really.
Honestly expected far less success. I would be intrigued to know if I can get more built with the more recent c version. A lot of the them choked on C errors IIRC... (well obviously errors in c I mean language specific looking deaths)
So that's a big driver for me in terms of 'should I bother?'
As a test I just renamed the extra libc.so.6.NEW & libc-2.3.6.so.NEW, which results in all the apps loading beautifully - that I have tested so far.
EDIT: Just using:
source start.sh
where start.sh is
Quote:
#!/bin/sh
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib:/lib:/mnt/us/usr/lib:/mnt/us/lib
export PATH=/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/mnt/us/usr/bin:/mnt/us/bin
export LD_PRELOAD=
export SDL_VIDEODRIVER=aalib
export HOME=/mnt/us/home/root

Perhaps this is a non-issue in one sense. I'm using the oldest version ever. Therefore no one has a version older than me.
Older > newer in terms of 'likely to work' on all devices. ermm.. hmm... I'll think.
But yeah. gobsmacker.
