That's what made me pick it up, too. But I am getting sidetracked again... Reading Time Travelers Never Die by Jack McDevitt over the weekend (the novella, not the novel, which is rather different) made me want to read more McDevitt, so I have now started The Engines of God. I already read this years ago in a bad German translation, and the only thing I remember about it is that at the time I thought it would be pretty good if the translation weren't how it was.

I was a bit disappointed by Mockinjay too. I think the depiction of the characters was quite good, but I definitely didn't like the ending.
