No, azw3 is not working for me.
one of the best things with Calibre and Kindle, is that 4 times per day (it remains a BIG pity that Calibre not allows to specify exact hours but only every 0.x part of a day, I am not interested in news when I sleep), Calibre sends automatically an email with news items to my Kindle, and yes, AZW3 is not a supported format for that. so, I had to revert everything to MOBI again, and like the new format is not working....

•Documents: Kindle (.AZW, .AZW1). Text (.TXT), Unprotected Mobipocket (.MOBI, .PRC)
•Audible: Audible (.AA, .AAX)
•Music: MP3 (.MP3)
