Um....ya. No. Sorry. I call bullshit on this.

I've read both series. I love Harry Potter. Hunger Games is IMO passable but longevity of the Potter series not bloody likely! The third book in the Hunger Games was borderline torturous to read. I bought the trilogy set from Kobobooks. I liked the first one. The second one was ok and the third I had to read because I read the first two and wanted to see how it ended. It felt like a rehash of the first ones and written because someone told her to, not that it was a part of the story that she just had to get out on paper. It felt forced.

Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone came out in 1997. Will anyone remember the Hunger Games books in 15 years? I doubt it.
