Welcome to the forum, Nancy.

Can you give us more details, please?

I think you'll find that the ereader itself is not protected by DRM, only the ebook. So if you try to open an ebook which is infested with DRM on a reader which has not been registered with Adobe Digital Managements you won't be able to read it, and will get that message - unless you remove the DRM, but we are not allowed to to tell you how to do that. Apprentice Alf is very friendly, or private messages might help.
