Oh, yeah. I didn't see that. I wonder if Sony could rig it that the smaller T2 won't fit the larger T1 case. Now that would be something. Mind you, they have achieved it with all previous models. Sony's ability to force users to buy new cases at absurdly inflated prices should never be underestimated. Previously they did it by using the spine-type fixing method (600, 650, etc). Does this mean they will totally re-design the holding mechanism. I'm excited.

At 1 mm, I'm feeling skeptical that the reduction in size is progress or intended to be progress. More likely it's equally because a long-standing financial strategy to make each successive generation of e-reader a different size. If I am being over-cynical, well, I am willing to eat humble-crow-pie if the T2 fits the T1 case.
