The comments are more entertaining than the video. The only way this young lady could have caused a bigger stir would have been to cut up a Qur'an, a Bible, and a Torah.

I'm a writer and I have no patience for dog earing, breaking spines and bending soft covers. This is much worse, much much worse. It's like personally spitting in the face of the author. If she did this to my book collection I would do the same thing to her face.

I'm just going to say it -- this is a pretty good idea. You could stash a cash box behind some books or simply create an inconspicuous storage area for an e-reader or two.
