If I bought a book in December, and it was updated with fixes in February, should I get the newer one if I download it again? Or is my account forever tied to the old one?

I reported some errors to a publisher the other day, and they are saying that they sent out a fixed file to all vendors in February, but a version I downloaded in ADE a couple of weeks ago still has the same errors.
