I'm Candace Blevins, author of BDSM Romance (erotica). I read the same, but I'm also an avid Urban Fantasy fan.

I have a Kindle Touch, my seven year old has my old Kindle Keyboard, and the ten year old has a Kindle Fire with the wi-fi locked out -- if she needs to download something she brings it to me, as ten year old children do not need 24/7 access to the internet in their bedrooms. Her computer is in the family room where we can keep an eye on things, but none of her personal gadgets know the wi-fi password.

My seven year old has my love of reading (to the extent I catch her with a flashlight under the covers reading two hours after her bedtime), but my older daughter has no interest in fiction. At all. Give her a non-fiction book and she'll absorb it, but fiction? She's just not interested.
