No. The line height issue, as you have mentioned in a few posts here, is strictly a firmware issue. As such it should be fixed on the K4 and K5. I would be suspect of a K7 or K8 also having this issue until proven otherwise. Amazon does a lot of great things and has the best overall system as far as book selection, store, device syncing, and reading devices. One thing they don't do well is listen to us and then correct their mistakes.
I'm not sure what new features or functionality would entice me to buy a new Kindle. I can think of none, but perhaps Amazon is more imaginative than I. I'm still not convinced the lit screen is a good idea. The Nooks I've seen on video reviews looked awfully glaring and I suspect have less contrast, either of which is bad. I could go look at one of the Nook Glows, but why bother as I will NEVER buy another B&N reader. B&N, just like Sony, have lackluster overall eBook systems. I won't waste any more money on either of them, especially Sony since it thumbs its corporate nose at the American eReader market. I love their TVs though!
