@AnemicOak: devices view setting? Where is that? Or did you do that in Calibre? If you mean the font setting it can't eliminate the extra spacing.

Anyway I'm on the same boat with JSWolf, I want higher resolution to upgrade. A better touch would also do me though. Having none of those I won't.

As an aside, I thought that IR touch << capacitive touch, but I've recently learned that is not true. Where I teach, now we have starboards that use IR and they are very responsive. That leads me to think that the poor touch on the ereaders is a fault of their implementation of IR touch and not a fault of the tech itself. That also means that even if they switch to capacitive touch it could still suck.
