It affected my 2 Kindle Keyboards. After they replaced one and the problem continued, I opened a new account and registered one of the Kindles to it. Since then, no more problems. Although this has solved the problem for me, it is not entirely satisfactory, and as a result, I am reluctant to buy any more e-ink Kindles. I use one account mainly for personal docs and news. My main account, I hardly even use that Kindle, though my Fire is on it, too. But it's for freebies, the occasional purchase, and the Lending Library book of the month. I will probably sell that e-ink Kindle eventually.
