I'd agree. However, if a launch was imminent ie in a few days time, they would be well past getting their tech right. If they were still sorting out the technical issues, I'd think we would be at least a month or two away from a product launch. The thing is that people are pointing at the lack of availability of the Touch and Touch 3G, Kindle DX sale, sale on Kindle accessories and the silent demise of the wifi keyboard as signs that the release of new Kindles being launched this week. Since the Touch 3G is back in stock, I'd think the theory is out the window.
But yes, I'd agree, hold off releasing the new Kindles until the bugs are sorted out.
