Yes I pirate books!
Right now I'm scanning a good one, which I borrowed from a friend.
Why? Well, reasons are plenty!

- I live in Brazil and ebooks are definetly something rare here. I don't remember seeing any oficial one being sold in a proper online store (except from Apple store which offer classics public dominion books - from portugal - and they are free)

- Paper books here are sooo expensive (like anything else). Taxes are abusive and you can easily pay around 35 US$ for a good one!

- I don't see myself buying a paper one and having to scan the whole book for the convenience of reading on a ereader.

So, when I want a book, I check Google first, alternative sources second and if I really don't find them, then I buy the paper and scan that.

No conscience crisis at all!
