Finished the July issue of Lightspeed Magazine. This was a rather mediocre issue, maybe that's why it took me so long to get through it. The story I most enjoyed was a reprint by David Brin,
The Giving Plague. The ebook exclusive novella was quite good, too:
Lune and the Red Empress by Liz Williams and Alastair Reynolds. The rest was more or less "meh...", even the story by Peter S. Beagle whose stuff I generally enjoy. I think I just don't like talking animals (it was about a mouse that went to cat school to learn to be a cat).
