for moment, i forgot about the reciprocity (sp?) concept. the communities i belong to just have a lending thread up; the thread consists of rules when borrowing, and there is no reciprocity needed, but of course, it's nice to share the love ! we usually pm other members from whom we'd like to borrow, and it's up to the latter to decide if they want to lend or not. amiable lenders have a shelf (on goodreads) called 'lendables' or kindle-lendables, or nook-lendables, what have you, where they put the books they want to lend.
