I just finished John Sandford's "Buried Prey," #21 in the 'Prey' series. Sandford fans... do NOT miss this one... Actually knocked me back in my seat at one point in the story!
And it's a great 'early Lucas on the force' flashback, giving an idea of how he got where he is today.
